Mathieu Handfield

Not only is Mathieu an actor and author, he’s also the creator, director, and co-writer of the animated series Mouvement Deluxe. He was director of the web series L’ascenseur and Gazebo, and the TV series En tout cas. They all bear his distinctive touch of humour. As if that’s not enough, he taught new media for a number of years at the École nationale de l’humour and is currently at work on the sixth season of the series Alertes, series for which he won best annual dramatic series and was nominated for best director two years in a row at the Gala des prix Gémeaux.

The stories that flow through his fingers always stand out, no matter what path they take: advertising, television, film, stage, print, or the Web. Because he’s also a performer, he’s in an excellent position to know what actors expect from directors.
